Posted Wednesday Nov 19, 2008 10:06 The latest forecast for Northeast Vermont including Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans counties. A strong area of high pressure has been in place over the Northeast Kingdom for the last few days, providing us with some seasonably cold air. This area of high pressure should remain over the area for most of the afternoon and evening on Wednesday. Overnight Wednesday and into Thursday morning, an area of low pressure will move into the region which will lead to increasing cloudiness and a chance for light rain showers on Thursday and Friday.
