New Building

The LSC Meteorology Department will move into the new Academic Building in September, 2009.  The new building will significantly expand the space currently available to the Meteorology Department.  This new facility will contain state of the art technology that will significantly enhance the educational experience of our students.  Students will have access to two computerized classrooms, a high tech work room complete with a digital map wall, a research lab facility, a communications room, and an observation deck to view the current weather in the Northeast Kingdom .  Students will be able to display a large number of meteorological data sets with new, state of the art software.
