ATM Alumni Seminar by Cegeon Chan
Come to the first ATM Alumni Seminar in ASAC 319 on Thursday, 16 October at 12:30-1:15pm (bring your lunch). Dr. Chan graduated from Lyndon State in 2003 with a BS in Meteorology and a BA in Mathematics. He then went on to receive his PhD in Atmospheric Science at MIT in 2009. Since then, he’s worked at First Wind Energy, a company that develops, finances and operates wind farms in a variety of roles. In the last few years, using SCADA data, new sensors and remote sensing devices, he has lead the performance optimization team resulting in over $100 million of increased value.
